Today, we represent a network of Rehabilitation and Long Term Acute Care Hospitals, and Clinics throughout North and South Louisiana.  Specialty, as our name implies, provides “Intensive Specialty Acute Care, Acute Physical Rehabilitation, and Post Acute (Clinic)” settings with various modalities of care.

Including, but not limited to:   24 Hour Intensive Pulmonary & Ventilator Services, Certified Wound Care Nurse, Physical Therapy, Occupational, and Speech Pathology, and 24 Hour Physician and Specialized Clinical Nursing.  Our staff’s competency levels are always monitored for nothing less than exceptional thresholds.

New Orleans and the greater Gulf Coast Region is a new 2009 frontier that Specialty Healthcare has embraced as an underserved market of our services. After a thorough study of the medical communities “Specialty” recently purchased two hospitals, one located in Hammond and one in Luling, Louisiana.  This immediate catchment area of 50 square miles, and 100 square mile secondary service, will allow us to bring our services to another market with residents in roughly six adjacent Parishes.
